ABOUT ME
About Coach dove.
A little bit about me, my coaching, and future trajectory…
Why I Coach
I've put over 2 thousand hours into playing, watching and analyzing marvel rivals since launch, with an emphasis on the pro scene. In this time I believe I developed a strong understanding of the game and how to easily identify mistakes and define concepts. Now, I aim to share my perspectives with anyone who is interested in improvement or game understanding.
What I Study
Concepts (i.e. tempo, resource trade, rotations, ult economy), theory (i.e. micro builds macro, macro defines micro, win condition logic, comp interactions, ban phase logic), meta analysis, communication structures, and more! All of which I break down using pro match replays, team client replays, and individual client replays.
What I’m Building
A platform that combines all of my unique resources and perspectives with external assets in a simple, organized and FREE manner, open to all who are interested.
How I Approach Improvement
I place a heavy emphasis on the idea that everyone has the potential to improve, and that learning can only occur when both parties are fully engaged. This means asking questions, showing work, even having arguments, as it will all lead to real and necessary improvement in an individual's or team's level of understanding and ability to rationalize. I will establish connections, and connections are how improvement is made possible.
What I’m Looking For
I'm looking for a coaching or analyst position (long term or one-off) for any and all MRC or MRI teams who are interested completely for FREE, regardless of the level of play. I can be found on discord (link in the footer) or contact me through the contact page on the website.
Who I Am
My name is dove (like the bird), and I have a huge passion for esports and competition in general. Analysis is not new to me, and it's been a sizable part of my identity for the past 7 years. While I'm just now getting a start in coaching, I've been able to create and pick up a wide range of concepts and theorems related to Rivals in particular, and believe myself capable of sharing that part of me to enable the success of others. For the remainder of 2026 I will be 17 years old, which means I won't be able to work for teams who have a 18+ requirement quite yet.
